Shankar joins us from the American India Foundation where he was Executive Director for India and instrumental in establishing and developing the Foundation’s India office.

SustainAbility is working in India with both local and multinational companies, and partnering with civil society and other leadership organisations, bringing to bear two decades of international experience as advocates and advisors for sustainable development and corporate responsibility. We have been providing strategic counsel to companies and undertaking independent research and advocacy, supporting the development and implementation of business approaches to address key environmental, social and economic issues – in line with our existing operations in London, Washington, New York and Zurich.
