Privacy
We use the information we collect about you to process orders.
When you order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, delivery address, credit or debit card number and the card's expiry date. This allows us to process and fulfil your orders.
We also ask for your telephone number which enables us to contact you urgently if there is a problem with your order.
We may also use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about new SustainAbility publications that we think you'll find of interest. If you would rather not receive this information, please mark the box at the bottom of your order form or send an e-mail to info@sustainability.com.
When you place orders or access your account information, we offer the use of a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us.
Security
No customers shopping at this store have ever reported fraudulent use of a credit or debit card as a result of purchases made with us. The security of your transaction is guaranteed by the following measures in place both at our site and in the credit industry as a whole: The secure connection (using Secure Sockets Layer or SSL technology) which you have to our server ensures that all the data transmitted either way has been encrypted before being transmitted across the internet. You can be sure that SSL is being used by the 'lock' icon shown on the status bar of your browser.
In the event of fraudulent use of your card, most banks and card issuers either cover all the charges that result from unauthorized use of your credit/debit card, or limit your liability to just £50.00.
Important:
This security guarantee only applies to sales made on the secure server. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit/debit card, you are responsible for notifying your card issuer in accordance with it's reporting rules and regulations.
