Engaging Stakeholders
A network of companies dedicated to driving transparency and accountability in pursuit of a more sustainable world.
Engaging Stakeholders is a business network that enables member companies to learn from each other and draw on SustainAbility's 25 years of expertise at the leading edge of accountability. The network has just one goal: to help you anticipate and exceed the expectations of all your stakeholders, from employees and investors to suppliers and customers.
Corporate membership costs $20K per year, which includes attendance for three individuals at our annual workshop. Any employee of a member company may access live and archived Engaging Stakeholders web seminars and other materials.

Collaborate with peers
Engaging Stakeholders offers the ideal environment for sustainability professionals to discuss ideas and learn from the experiences of their counterparts across all industries. An annual workshop enables valuable face-to-face discussion with peers and sustainability experts, and the dialogue continues throughout the year via a members-only online forum and regular web seminars.
Learn from the experts
Drawing on a broad network of thought leaders from across the corporate, NGO and academic worlds, the SustainAbility team regularly convenes members online to present new trends and best practices, and to discuss what's next for accountability.
Get expert guidance
Membership includes a bespoke consulting project, which could include assessing the quality of your company's reporting, advising on communications strategy, or benchmarking competitive performance.
Partner for success
Every network member is assigned a dedicated liaison at SustainAbility who is on hand for advice, and whose role is to get to know your business, its people, and its unique challenges.
Why join
Business is changing
Growing public awareness of the environmental and social impacts of business; the power of social media to change the nature of the debate; the increasing role of third-party ratings and guides in influencing consumer and investor behaviour… Just some of the factors causing a rapid shift in expectations around corporate transparency and accountability.
You need to respond
As a company there has never been a greater need for you to engage effectively with your stakeholders, articulate a credible sustainability vision, demonstrate progress toward it, and respond constructively to criticism from any direction.
