This understanding has been honed through our years operating as a hybrid consultancy and think tank, and through the symbiotic relationship between these two halves of our identity. Our think tank provides a platform on which to develop new ideas and push boundaries, and our consulting allows us to test and implement these ideas. Ultimately, our clients benefit from our dual nature, gaining unique insights and tools from our work on topics including the green consumer (1988), corporate reporting (starting in 1993), the business case for sustainable development (2001) and engagement through web 2.0 (2009).
